PokerStars Runs Special USA Leaderboard Promotion From May 23 to June 20

PokerStars USA has just announced a special cash game leaderboard promotion with the aim to boost traffic across its U.S poker network.

The online poker giant has confirmed that it will run this cash game promotion for the Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets.

Cash Game Leaderboard Promotion

The new cash game leaderboard promotion will run from May 23 to June 20 and will be available to all PokerStars MI, PokerStars NJ and PokerStars PA players. However, not all players will be automatically entered into the leaderboard promotion.

Players in these three states will have to personally check their accounts to see if they have been deemed eligible to participate in the cash game leaderboard promotion. You can check if you are eligible by signing into your PokerStars account and then clicking on the Challenges window to see if they are selected to participate in this promotion.

These cash game leaderboard promotions will run for close to a month but do note that these are daily promotions that award prizes on a daily basis to the respective winners.

Cash Game Leaderboard Prizes

The cash game leaderboard promotion in all three states will only cover No-Limit Hold’em cash games. These leaderboards are broken down into six tiers and will award a combined total of $162,400 across all three states during the entire promotion.

Just over $5,300 in combined prizes will be given away across all three states on a daily basis. Poker players in MI will get $2,000 in daily prizes, players in PA will also get $2,000 in daily prizes while players in NJ will get $1,300 in daily prize money.

A total of 83 places will be paid out during this month long promotion in PA and $64,684.50 will be paid out in total. A total of 82 places will be paid out in MI and $60,334.50 will be paid out in total. A total of 46 places will be paid out in NJ and $37,381 will be paid out in total.

Players who are eligible to participate in this cash game promo will need to wager a minimum of $0.05/$0.10 and the max will be limited to $2/$5.
