PokerStars Releases Schedule $1.2 Million NJCOOP 2017 Event

PokerStars, the biggest online poker website in the world has released its scheduled for the The New Jersey Championship of Online Poker (NJCOOP). The online poker festival will commence from September 30 and run till October 16 and will be open only to online poker players physically present in the state of New Jersey.

There were will be a total of 46 online events during the 17 days and a total of $1.2 million in guaranteed prize money will be on the line. The online poker festival will have buy-ins ranging from low to high to enable as many poker players as possible in the Garden State to participate.

There will be a number of poker players from all over the country heading to New Jersey as they want to be a part of the NJCOOP.

Some of the top players from Team PokerStars will also be playing at the NJCOOP. The 2003 WSOP Main Event winner Chris Moneymaker and Twitch star Jason Somerville are two such players who will be playing. Jen Shahade who is a mind sports ambassador for PokerStars is also looking forward to the festival.

In a statement, Jen Shahade said

I really enjoyed playing in NJSCOOP earlier this year. I went with my family to Ocean City and ended up final tabling a few prelims and placing third in the Main Event. I’m really looking forward to another great online tournament series in New Jersey with over $1 million in guaranteed prize pools

Shahade is confident that she can pull it off this time around and walk away with a win. It’s not going to be easy as the online player pool in New Jersey is expected to have some of the best online poker players in the U.S competing. The NJCOOP Main Event has two Day 1 flights and a buy-in of $500 with a guarantee of $200,000.

There are also a number of exciting NJCOOP events scheduled during the 17 day poker festival and players will have a wide range of options to choose from. Some of the other exciting events scheduled include the NL Hold’em Sunday Special which has a $250 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $85,000 and the NL Hold’em High Roller event which has a $1,000 buy-in and $80,000 in guaranteed prize money.

PokerStars is hosting a number of satellite events with low-buy ins to enable poker players to win a seat at the numerous NJCOOP events.
