PokerStars Introduces Power Path Express Path To Anniversary Event

Nearly two decades later, it is still regarded as one of the most prestigious weekly events on the platform.
As the tournament is getting ready to celebrate its 19th anniversary, PokerStars is rolling out a massive edition with a $6 million guaranteed prize pool on April 6.
Exclusive Power Path Express Tourney with $22 Buy-In
Poker aficionados interested in joining the high-stakes event can check out Poker Star’s newly introduced Power Path Express tournament.
The exclusive poker event, scheduled for March 30 and starting at 2:30 p.m. ET, will accept $22 buy-ins and distribute at least $50,000 in Power Path Passes.
Even more, a minimum of 80 participants will win direct entries into the anniversary event, which typically requires a $215 buy-in.
The top five Power Path Express finishers will receive Silver Power Path Passes. Each pass is valued at up to $2,500 and is available for use on big online tournaments as well as regional live events.
Players ranked from 6th to 80th will be handed $215 tickets that will grant them direct entry into the Sunday Million Anniversary event.
Those landing between 81st and 180th place will be entitled to a Bronze Power Path Pass, valued at $109.
Finally, players ranked from 181st to 375th will be able to claim a $55 ticket for Power Path Step 4, enjoying another route to the highly anticipated event.

Speaking about the upcoming anniversary of “poker’s most iconic and prestigious online event”, PokerStars associate director of poker operations Steve Clarricoat explained they were interested in giving “as many poker players the chance to play” as possible.
On top of the exciting announcement regarding the Power Path Express tournament, the online poker cardroom also showcased a fresh Sunday Million Season across its global liquidity regions, excluding North America.

The special series will run through April 8 and feature buy-ins ranging from $3.30 to $1,050, with a staggering $18.7 million in guaranteed prize pools.
Players will also have the opportunity to compete in a leaderboard race for prizes and trophies.
Plus, anyone who manages to eliminate a PokerStars Ambassador in a Sunday Million Season tournament will instantly earn a ticket to the Sunday Million Anniversary.
