PokerStars Championship Final Stop This Year Will Be In Prague

PokerStars ChampionshipPokerStars Championship 2017 was a new initiative that the Stars Group put together and it has had a rather successful year in 2017. PokerStars Championship 2017 will have its final tour stop of the year in the beautiful city of Prague in Czech Republic.

PokerStars Championship Prague will be a winter wonderland poker escapade that will close the tournament’s successful 2017 run. The 12-day festive tournament will run from December 7 to 18 at the Casino Atrium Prague, and will feature 43 low- and high-stakes poker events.

The tournament will offer several events such as the PokerStars MegaStack from December 15 to 17 for as low as €170 and the PokerStars Championship Super High Roller 8-Handed which has a €50,000 buy-in.

High stake poker players have a lot of events to choose from including the two €25,000 Single-Day High Roller events scheduled on December 13 and 14 and the €10,300 Single Re-Entry High Roller which runs from December 16 to 18.

The highlight of the tournament will be the €5,300 PokerStars Championship Prague Main Event which will follow the format similar to that of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Main Event. The €5,300 Main Event will see players start with 30,000 chips in two opening flights from December 12 to 13. Blinds will increase every 75 minutes during the first two days and from Day 3, blinds will increase every 90 minutes.

Apart from the Main Event and high stake events, cash games will also run 24/7 inside the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel Prague and will be open to all. These games will also feature no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha. Other blinds and limits spreads will be made available by request. All cash games will be played in Czech Koruna currency. For convenience, PokerStars has also set up a dedicated airport transfer service that will chauffeur guests from Prague’s Vaclav Havel Airport to various hotels in the city center at a special rate of CZK 550 (€21) for one to four people, and CZK 750 (€29) for five to eight people.
