partypoker Retains Title Of EGR ‘Poker Operator Of The Year’

partypoker made a commitment in 2016 to revamp its brand and offerings under the guidance of its Chairman Mike Sexton.

The online poker room has rolled out a number of changes in the last 24 months to become more player friendly and once again become a major force in the global poker market.

The response to those changes has been very positive and player feedback and experience have shown that partypoker was heading in the right direction. That was further confirmed at the recently held EGR Operator Awards which was held in London.

The EGR Operator Awards is considered to be one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the gaming industry and over 800 stakeholders from all across the world were present on the occasion.

Poker Operator Of The Year

partypoker won the EGR ‘Poker Operator Of The Year’ award in 2017 and was once again a nominee in 2018 along with the Stars Group and the Kindred Group. partypoker won the award for the second consecutive year as the EGR judging panel was impressed with the brand’s commitment to understanding the customer and showing initiative to improve their online poker product and player interaction efforts.

GVC Holdings, the parent company of partypoker also had a field day at the awards winning the ‘Casino Operator of the Year’ award and also the ‘Operator of the Year’ award.

More Winners At EGR Awards

There were a number of awards presented during the ceremony which took place at the Grosvenor House. The Game of the Year award went to Evolution Gaming for ‘Lightning Roulette’; The Fantasy Sports Operator of the year went to Boom Fantasy; The Socially Responsible Operator of the year went to Sky Betting & Gaming and the Employer of the Year went to Sky Betting & Gaming.

Pinnacle was presented with the eSports Operator of the year award; William Hill took the Mobile Operator of the Year award; bet365 took the Sports Betting Operator of the year award and William Hill won the Slots Operator of the year.
