partypoker KO SeriesThe world’s second largest poker site partypoker will once again play host to the latest installment of the KO Series.

Taking place from May 12-26, the festival features a total of 226 events, all played in progressive knockout (PKO) format. Players will be excited to learn that partypoker has $30 million in guaranteed prize money to be won.

If you are looking for huge value, the KO Series is perfect for you as partypoker is not charging any rake on the bounty element of the buy-in. You can guarantee incredible bounties throughout the two-week festival.

PKO Format Explained

All players primarily begin with a bounty on their heads. For every player you send out of the game, you will receive a cash payment. Your bounty also increases with each elimination you are responsible for. If you win, you will get the bounty on your own head which often surpasses the value of the top prize being awarded in some higher buy-in events.

A similar prize is guaranteed for the top two players who will then battle it out for the massive bounty payment.

Details and Highlights

The KO Series has something in store for players of all skillsets, with buy-ins ranging from $2.20, all the way up to $5,200. The events are categorized as Micro, Low, Mid, High, High Roller and Super High Roller. Players can also get in on the action for a much affordable price, via satellites starting at just $0.22.

partypoker has prepared a total of ten championship events spread across an action packed schedule. Nine of these championship events each carry a huge guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. The other one offers $2 million in guarantees. The championship events are scheduled for the three Sundays throughout the series: three events on May 12, three on May 19 and four on May 26.

Players only need to deposit between $320 and $5,200 to take part in these events which are played as 8-Max.

In addition to the KO Series satellites, tickets are also up for grabs at special edition SPINS tournaments which come with a buy-in of just $5. The games follow a winner-takes-all, hyper-turbo, three-handed format, with the lowest multipliers giving away a corresponding payout of either $10 or $20. KO Series tickets on offer at these games are worth between $33 and $5,200.

partypoker is also offering up to $30 worth of SPINS tickets for new players during their first deposit at the site. For a price of just $5, players get the chance to win $1 million.
