  • The WSOP Circuit stop at Turning Stone runs from March 17 – 28
  • Players will compete for over $1 million in guaranteed prize money across 15 ring events
  • The Turning Stone stop marks New York’s first-ever WSOP Circuit event

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit is set to visit the Turning Stone Resort Casino on March 17.

Ahead of the event, 15 gold rings are currently on display at the casino, giving players a glimpse of what’s in store for them over the next few weeks.

The upcoming event at Turning Stone features $1 million in guarantees, spread out across 15 tournaments. It marks the first time that a WSOPC event is taking place in the state of New York. Players can take part in the series for as low as $80, with daily satellites available for the bigger events between now and March 16. Buy-ins for these satellites start at $100 and players get the opportunity to win a share of $50,000 in cash.

A Milestone for Turning Stone Casino

The WSOPC will host stops in less than 15 casinos across the globe this year, with Turning Stone being the only venue selected in the Northeast. Given the prestige and fame associated with the WSOP, which is the world’s biggest and longest-running poker festival, thousands of players are expected to travel to New York to participate in the upcoming event.

The winner of each event will walk away with the highly coveted gold ring, plus automatic entry into the Tournament of Champions, an invite-only tournament which will run as part of the 53rd WSOP live festival at Bally’s/Paris in Las Vegas this summer. That’s on top of the cash prize that the winner gets to take home.

WSOPC Gold Rings

This year’s WSOPC ring is designed by Jostens, a renowned jewelry maker notable for their personalized high school and college rings as well as championship rings. It’s the same company that designed the NBA and Super Bowl championship rings.

The ring bears the words “WSOP Circuit Event” on the front and “Turning Stone” on the side. Players who are in New York can stop over at the casino and see the WSOPC rings on display.
