Fresh off from holding a successful Main Event just over a week ago at Grand Falls Casino in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) heads over to the Venetian in Las Vegas this weekend for another massive Main Event which comes with a $500,000 guarantee.

Running from September 3-5, the MSPT Main Event will headline Venetian’s popular DeepStack series which just got underway on August 29. The $1,100 tournament was last held at the venue during the summer and saw Argentinian poker pro Federico Roberto beat out a 2,154-entry field to take home the $294,327 top prize.

The MSPT Main Event involves two Day 1 flights which kick off on September 3. Players begin the action with 25,000 in starting stack played to 40-minute levels. The champion is guaranteed to take home a six-figure top prize and also walks away with an MSPT trophy.

The MSPT Main Event is the main highlight of DeepStack Extravaganza III, a month-long festival that features a total of 60 events running until October 2. It’s the third time that the series is held this year, with the latest edition set to award $3.8 million in guaranteed prize money.

More MSPT Events in 2022

The MSPT began its 2022 tour with the Grand Falls Casino $1,100 Main Event which was won by Beau “Don K. Nado” Wilshire from Shawnee, Kansas for $104,579. The tournament ran from August 19-21 and is followed by the Venetian stop.

After the Venetian, the tour’s next stop will be at Sycuan Casino in San Diego, California for the MSPT United States Poker Championship. The series runs from September 15-25 and features $570,000 in total guarantees spread out across 11 events. It will culminate in a $1,100 Main Event which takes place from September 22-25 and comes with $300,000 in guaranteed prize pool.

The MSPT will then travel to Michigan for the Michigan State Poker Championship. The Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek will play host to the $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament which runs from October 13-16.
