The upcoming Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party has gotten even bigger with the addition of two major events – the Triton Poker Series and a One Drop tournament.

Players will be in for more exciting action and more prize money at the luxurious Merit Royal Diamond Hotel in North Cyprus where the highly anticipated poker party takes place.

Triton Poker Series Adds 13 Events

Running from August 19 to September 18, the inaugural Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party brings together tournaments from some of the world’s most popular live poker brands. The Triton Poker Series will add more color and thrill to the poker extravaganza, with the event expected to attract some of the best players in the game.

The first Triton Poker event takes place on September 5, with 12 more running until September 18. These tournaments aren’t for everyone though, with buy-ins ranging from $25,000, all the way up to $200,000. We can look forward to seeing some familiar figures from the high-stakes arena descending to North Cyprus to take part.

One Drop Event Scheduled for Aug. 28-29

The One Drop event, sponsored by the One Drop Foundation, is another head-turner. It has an entry fee of $10,000 and runs from August 28-29. As with the other One Drop tournaments in the past, the upcoming event in North Cyprus also has a charity element. Players will sit with 20,000 chips, but they may donate $1,111 to the foundation to boost their starting stack to 40,000.

The One Drop Foundation has been providing access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene to various communities around the world since 2017. Its poker events have so far raised $25 million to help with its water initiatives.

Alexandre Meunier, the organization’s Chief Marketing and Events Officer, said joining forces with the Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party is another huge milestone for them this year as they cross the Atlantic for the first time.

Luxon Pay is equally delighted to partner with One Drop, as poker and charity always go hand in hand for the company, according to business development director Neil Barrett.

Other tournaments to watch for in the upcoming Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party include the $1,100 Irish Open, $1,100 Eurasian Poker Tour, $550 Malta Poker Festival, and the $100 Ladies First. The schedule also includes a $5 million guaranteed Main Event which kicks off on August 29.
