India Poker Championship

India Poker ChampionshipAnother major tournament, the India Poker Championship (IPC), will immediately follow BPT on January 14. Taking place at the Big Daddy Casino, the live edition of the tournament offers a massive Rs 5 crores in total guarantees, spread across six days of poker action.

The main attraction of the series will be the Rs 50,000 buy-in Main Event, the winner of which will capture the title “India Poker Champion of the 2020 Season“. Satellite events are currently underway and will run until January 13.

IPC Live

The action continues online at the India Online Poker Championship taking place on January 24 to February 9 on SpartanPoker.com. It boasts a total prize pool of Rs 16 crores. Combining the prize offerings both live and online, the tournament is set to give away a total of Rs 21 crores.

Apart from that, the India Poker Championship Awards will also return for a third edition, and will recognise some of India’s best and finest poker players in a ceremony on January 14 at Big Daddy Casino.

Co-founder and Managing Director of Spartan Poker Amin Rozani said this year’s edition of the IPC builds on the massive success it has achieved over the past few years. The IPC is one of the country’s biggest tournament series, and Rozani said they will continue to provide Indian players with the best poker experience by offering mouth-watering guarantees and more gaming options.

The 2020 IPC is expected to once again break previous records. In September last year, it managed to surpass its 3-crore guarantee after awarding more than 5 crores to the winners by the end of the series.
