Full Tilt Poker Payouts Due in March 2014

After years of waiting, we have finally just received some news which is going to hopefully finally bring to a conclusion the huge amount of cash that many US online poker players have had tied up and locked into their  Full Tilt Poker site accounts since April of 2011.

The US Justice Department that seized the assets of all US based Full Tilt Poker players in April of 2011 have announced, via the Garden City Group who the Justice Department recruited to handle the payouts of monies owed, that they should be in a position to start paying out these players in March of 2014.

It has been a very messy affair and one in which over $150 million in seized cash has been waiting to be repaid to players, however it will finally not be too long now before those players left out of pocket will finally have their poker bankrolls retuned to them!

The Garden City Group have been busy trying to contact the huge number of players still owed money from Full Tilt Poker, and have recently emailed all players of this poker site telling them that they need to lodge a claim stating how much they are owed and giving details of their accounts etc.

Players owed cash from Full Tilt Poker had until Saturday the 23rd of November 2013 to put in their claims or to dispute the amounts owed and as such as this time has now passed the Garden City Group should now be in a better position to start distributing those funds in or around March of 2014.

As many US based online poker players now have several perfectly legal poker sites at which to play at, well those living and residing in Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey now do, then it is expected that many online poker sites that have been catering for such players are going to see a dramatic downturn in regards to the number of poker players from those US States they have playing on their respective poker networks.

It has been a lesson learned for many US online Poker players and as such many of those players are now looking to play only at fully US licensed and regulated poker sites or are moving their online poker playing sessions into legal land based venues instead. If you do have money still tied up in Full Tilt Poker here is hoping it finally gets paid out to you and very soon!
