Decentral Games Launches Limited-Edition CoinGecko ICE Poker Skin

Decentral Games is joining forces with cryptocurrency data aggregator CoinGecko for a limited-edition ICE Poker skin NFT.

Both companies will also be hosting a metaverse drop party as part of the new partnership.

Decentral Games founded in 2019 is a GameFi startup that develops games for the metaverse. The company went on to launch ICE Poker in late 2021 – the first poker platform in the metaverse where users can compete in different tournaments and challenges and receive cool rewards and digital collectibles.

CoinGecko ICE Poker Skin Airdrop

The limited-edition “CoinGecko ICE Poker” wearable enables users to play ICE Poker and take part in Sit-n-Go tournaments for free. This means users can take a shot at exciting prizes and digital collectibles at zero costs! The exclusive CoinGecko skin may also be worn around Decentraland, where users can transform into the iconic CoinGecko lizard character.

 

This isn’t the first time that Decentral Games and CoinGecko are releasing special Gecko-themed ICE Poker skins. On December 7, 2022, they launched 10,000 of the same NFTs via CoinGecko’s loyalty program, the Candy Reward store. The exclusive NFT was an instant hit, with all 10,000 skins redeemed by the CoinGecko community in less than 24 hours. NFT have also caught the attention of many brands and players with WPT recently selling Iconic Moments in an auction.

Seeing the huge demand, and with the holiday season fast approaching, Decentraland Games and CoinGecko are dropping another set of CoinGecko ICE Poker skin for users to enjoy. There will be 10,000 skins available, with the first batch dropped on December 12. The rest of the skins will be airdropped on December 16, so make sure to stay updated.

Metaverse Welcome Party

All the fun and excitement will not end in the CoinGecko ICE Poker skin airdrop as Decentral Games and CoinGecko will also be hosting a Metaverse Welcome Party on December 21 at 9 pm EST.
