Daniel Negreanu Releases WSOPE 2019 Investment Package

Last Updated on September 9, 2019 Author:Adrian Sterne

Poker Hall of Famer (PHoF) Daniel Negreanu recently announced that he is selling a new package for the upcoming World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE).

This latest announcement comes after his 2019 WSOP package was successfully sold out in minutes during the summer.

Negreanu also confirmed on Twitter that he will be taking part in the WSOPE festival which is set to take place from October 15 – November 4 at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. Kid Poker is in the running for the WSOP Player of the Year title as his rival Shaun Deeb looks to defend the POY trophy.

For some time, it was uncertain whether Negreanu would actually be the latest edition of the largest poker festival in Europe. First, he had some reservations in relation to the tournament schedule, which he said features plenty of rebuys, with no freezeout. Second, his shock departure from PokerStars, a brand he’s connected with for a long time, suggested that he might not be participating in future events hosted by the company.

Negreanu announced in May 2019 that he was leaving PokerStars after 12 long years with the brand. It was during his tenure with the company that he was able to top the All-Time Money list, a position he held for a long period. He was also named as “The Global Poker Index Player of the Decade” and was indicted to the prestigious Poker Hall of Fame.

His recent Twitter announcement comes as good news to his fans and the poker community in general. Negreanu is putting some pieces of his WSOPE action for sale, free of mark-up to those who did not manage to buy his 2019 WSOP action due to a technical issue and also because it was sold out really quick.

Negreanu’s WSOPE Action

If you are keen on investing in Kid Poker’s forthcoming action, he has outlined in his Twitter posts that 15 pieces will cost you €449,600 ($496,000), but that amount will increase to a whopping €1,211,700 ($1.34 million), when rebuys into the higher buy-ins are taken into account.

The WSOPE offers a huge chance for Negreanu to collect significant points for the coveted WSOP Player of the Year title. He is currently in third place just behind Shaun Deeb who occupies the second spot. Two-time WSOP 2019 winner Robert Campbell currently leads the race.
