PTBiggest Poker Room In New York Opens At Resorts World Catskills
Poker players in New York will be happy to know that Resorts World Catskills has finally opened its 7,000 square foot poker room, making it officially the biggest poker room in New York.
The poker room can be easily accessed as it is located on the main casino floor and will function on a 24/7 basis.
Resorts World Catskills is one of the top casinos in New York offering players more than 100,000 square feet of casino gaming. The casino floor has more than 1,600 slot machines, private gaming sections, a VIP gaming area and 150 table games. The poker room will have an official ribbon cutting ceremony on August 20 and remains open to the public.

Poker Room Features
The new poker room will feature a number of popular poker variants including Texas Hold’em in both no limit and limit formats; 7 Card Stud and Omaha in both pot-limit and hi-limit formats. Poker players will also be able to play Bad Beat Jackpots which start out at quad 5’s. The poker room at Resorts World Catskills recently paid out a Bad Beat Jackpot for $187,000 and till date has paid out Bad Beat Jackpots to the tune of nearly $1 million.
The poker room has a total of 20 tables and 180 seats offering poker players some of the latest amenities and features that modern poker rooms are known to have. Some of these features include all seats having USB charge ports, an outside smoking area that is spacious, complimentary beverages being served at the tables, in-room cashiers and as many as 27 TV screens (55 inches).
Resorts World Catskills will celebrate the official opening of its poker room by organising a special Mega Stack Poker Tournament which will run from August 20 to 25. The buy-in to this poker tournament is fixed at $300 and a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 is at stake.
