888poker XL Autumn Series888poker has announced the return of its popular XL Series. The online poker operator will run a new series titled “XL Autumn Series” that comes with a $2 million guarantee across 44 events. The XL Autumn Series will run from Oct 17 to Nov 1.

888poker players will be happy to see the size of the guaranteed prize pool as this is the biggest XL series event in a long time. The last XL series which took place in spring had a $1 million guarantee. The 2021 XL Autumn Series also has the most number of events since the XL series in 2018.

The average guaranteed prize pool across these 44 events amounts to $45,000 which is definitely impressive for 888poker. The buy-ins for these 44 events will suit low stakes and mid-stakes players as they range from $16.50 and go all the way up to $109. The highlight of the XL Autumn Series will be the Main Event.

The XL Autumn Series Main Event has a $1,050 buy-in and will have a number of Day 1 flights. The final table will be played out on Day 2 which takes place on Nov 1. 888poker is also running a number of satellite events to enable players to take part in the Main Event for a very small buy-in. Some of the other exciting events to watch out for during the 2021 XL Autumn Series are XL Autumn #1 – $100,000 Opening Event, XL Autumn #5 – $15,000 Mini PKO 6-Max, XL Autumn #8 – $20,000 Mini Freezeout, XL Autumn #11 – $15,000 Mini PKO and the XL Autumn #14 – $20,000 Mini PKO 8-Max.

888poker Catering To Low Stakes Players

888poker is not competing with GGPoker and PokerStars who consistently run huge multi-million dollar poker tournaments. GGPoker is dishing out $10 million in free money for the consecutive month in October as it looks to maintain its place at the top of the list of US cash game traffic.

While PokerStars and GGPoker battle it out for the mid-stakes and high stakes poker market, it looks like 888poker is cooling its heels and targeting low stakes poker players with its XL series that are filled with low budget events. However, the new 2021 XL Autumn Series also shows that 888poker is willing to increase the prize pools going forward.
