888poker Releases New Mobile App For Both Android & iOS Users

The new 888poker mobile app is now finally available for download! The official roll out of the site’s biggest mobile update to date followed a soft launch back in August, which offered a glimpse of what the latest revamp has to offer.

Players may now download the app via the Google Play and Apple App Stores.

Multi-Table Option, New Portrait Feature

Probably one of the most notable features of the app is the addition of a new multi-table feature. 888poker’s mobile app now supports up to four tables playing out simultaneously, and players can move between them through a simple swipe.

Players can now also view the lobby in portrait mode, meaning the app is now compatible for one-handed play, something that has become the new standard for most online poker operators these days. Icons and functions are also now displayed in grid view, making it easy for players to navigate the lobby and reach the many different areas if their account.

The new 888poker mobile lobby also displays the various types of tournaments on offer, making it easy for players to pick the games they want to play, from sit-n-gos and poker tournaments, to cash games or SNAP Poker. Players can also now use filters that will help them go to specific tournament that fits their range.

Customization + Emoji Chat System

The new upgrade allows players to transform their mobile experience into something that personally appeals to them, by making use of the app’s customization options. They can set a pre-defined stake range, change the color of the cards, or enable autofocus on tables.

888poker has effectively removed the live chat option from their mobile client and replaced it with an emoji-based chat system. Players also now have additional options when it comes to virtual throwables making the experience more fun and engaging. They can throw an egg, a tomato, a cupcake, snowball and even a trophy at other players just to inject some fun at the tables.

Pre-set tags are also now available which is helpful for players while reviewing their poker sessions.
