The World Poker Tour (WPT) announced this week that it will partner for the first time with the One Drop Foundation to run two special charity events during the 2023 Wynn Summer Classic.
The WPT has a long history of partnering with charity organizations and raising funds through its poker tournaments while the One Drop Foundation continues to work with big brands in the poker market to host high stakes charity poker events and raise funds to address the global water crisis.
The 2023 Wynn Summer Classic will take place at the Wynn Las Vegas and will feature two special charity events with the WPT EveryOne for One Drop and WPT Alpha8 for One Drop.
WPT CEO Adam Pliska said his team was happy to work together with the One Drop foundation for the first time and was impressed with how quickly they put together these two charity events in time for the 2023 Wynn Summer Classic. Pliska said it was really remarkable to see how things came together and welcomed the return of Alpha8.
