2019 LAPC Will Run At Commerce Casino From January

Poker players on the East Coast will be able to start their New Year with a bang by attending the 2019 LA Poker Classic (LAPC).

The tournament is back for after celebrating their 25th Anniversary and will include a number of new events, as well as a 100-seat World Poker Tour (WPT) satellite day with $1 million guaranteed.

The 2019 LAPC will run from January 16 to March 6 at the Commerce Casino and will feature as many as 69 different events during the course of the two month tournament.

Tournament Director Matt Savage said the main goal for the LAPC is to have something in store for everyone and attract players of every bankroll. Savage also added that the LAPC Main Event has from the very beginning been an important part of the WPT. The Main Event has a buy-in of $10,000.

Since the buy-in is pretty steep, the LAPC has come out with a unique offer to put up $1,000,000 in seats up for grabs on March 1. There will be when two Mega Satellites taking place with each satellite event offering 50 Main Event seats.

Something On Offer For Everyone

The tournament will start with a $500,000 guarantee Kickoff Event on January 16-19 and a good turnout is expected as it has a buy-in of just $120. A number of popular events will also make a comeback, such as the $350 buy-in The Social Experiment on February 2, the $120 All-in or Fold events on January 27 as well as Time’s Up and the $100,000 guaranteed Jacked Stack taking place on February 8 and 9.

There will be a $350 buy-in No Limit Hold’em KO Bounty on January 20, offering $100,000 in guarantees, and No Limit Hold’Em Double Stack with a total prize pool of $300,000, taking place on February 14 -16. Some of the other notable events in the jam-packed series include The LAPC One Million taking place between February 20-23 and the Great Wall of Chips running from January 25 to 26.

The series also features High Roller events on March 4 – 5 which has a buy-in of $25,000. The 2019 LAPC will also feature new promotions with additional prizes. Four players will win the “Player of the Series” title in the Overall, Mega Satellite, Mixed Games and No Limit Hold’em events and will take home an extra $50,000 on top of their winnings.
