Most Affordable Events To Play at 2021 World Series of Poker
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) recently released the full schedule events for its 2021 WSOP live poker festival will run from September 30 to November 23.
The world’s most prestigious and longest-running poker festival returns to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas after a 26-month hiatus.
There will be 88 gold bracelets up for grabs, with the official schedule featuring a combination of flagship tournaments and new events.
Most players would surely be looking forward to the $10,000 buy-in Main Event which could potentially set a new record this year. It features four starting flights and gets underway on November 4. Those who are into the higher stakes can play in the $25K Heads-Up Championship, $50K PLO event, or take a shot at the $250K Super High Roller.
But if you have limited bankroll, there are some low budget events also thrown into the mix. Take a look below.
Event #4: $500 The Reunion
“The Reunion” costs just $500 to enter but offers a mouth-watering guarantee of $5,000,000. This event most probably tops the list for those hunting for smaller buy-in tournaments during this year’s WSOP. The Reunion is a five-day affair with three starting flights. It kicks off on October 1.
Event #24: $600 8-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack
Omaha fans will be delighted to know that there’s a budget event also in store for them. On October 12, a $600 buy-in 8-Handed Pot Limit Omaha Deepstack takes place, offering huge value. The event will run for two days, with players receiving 30,000 in starting chips, played to 30-minute levels. Late registration is allowed for 12 levels, and players can re-enter once.
Event #55: $400 The Colossus
Don’t forget that the popular Colossus event is also making a return this year, with an entry fee of only $400. It features two starting flights and kicks off on October 29. The Colossus is among events attracting the biggest fields at the WSOP each year. When it debuted in 2015, it became the largest-ever poker event after pulling in a total of 22,374 players.
Event #61: $600 NLHE Deepstack Championship
You may also include in your list Event #61: NLHE Deepstack Championship, if you intend to play at the WSOP on a budget. It is among the most affordable championship events of the 2021 WSOP, with a buy-in of only $600. The tournament kicks off on November 1.
Also make sure that you take advantage of tons of satellites running throughout the series, which will give you the chance to secure a seat into the key events for a fraction of the price!
